I don't like where this is going. Although it's not the first time a major arms deal has gone down with Tiawan, and it's not the first time China has been pissed about it, things are a bit different now with US/China relations than they were in 2001.

It is almost as if the Obama administration is deliberately provoking China to take a more aggressive posture.

I believe that it is the desire of the Obama administration to wreck this country, to make it poor and downtrodden. In this way they will be the saviors. They don't care who's careers they destroy, how many children die, how many old people get neglected. Its all about their power and their reputation. Its disgusting. If they have to provoke a war with China, they'll do it. I think they are putting things in place so something has to happen. Maybe multiple things at once. Let look at what is happening:

*We're in Iraq.
*We're in Afghanistan
We're in a conflict with Iran on several levels
We've pissed off the Chinese
We've pissed off the Russians
We've pissed off Venezuela
*We've given money and guns to Mexico which end up in the hands of the drug lords just over our border
*We won't attempt to seal either border
We're still fighting with Al Qaeda
Our Federal Reserve is screwing over the world
We're pissing off the Chinese EVEN MORE with this arms deal
We've wrecked our auto industry
We've shipped our manufacturing industry overseas
We're trying to wreck our health care system
We're trying to tax the daylights out of everything else
We're about to wreck the energy industry with Cap and Tax

* - Pre-existing, PreObama

Did I miss anything? Is anyone reading this having any doubts about THE FACT that The Obama in collusion with our Congress are attempting to run as aground?

Absolutely.

It's downright CHILDISH to look at the present situation and say "this is what happens when idiots run things."

WRONG!

Incompetence could never screw things up as badly, as PERFECTLY, as we are seeing. Even a total moron would eventually make the right decision, simply by accident!

There is ZERO (0) doubt in my mind that our country is the target of a comprehensive attack designed to bring us all to our knees.

Problem is, I don't do so good on my knees. I have a hard time resisting the urge to stand up, and spit in some faces.

I hope you have a good retreat somewhere where you can regroup. I sincerely think that if this thing falls apart in the next few years that you, Gio and I will be some of the ones to put it back together.

I'm sick of depression lite. I'm ready for the bottom to drop out. Well, not quite yet. I've gotta get some more .308 bullets for the 30-06!

Obumbly is trying to create a state of emergency at some point. That way he can declare marshall law and basically suspend the rights of the Constitution. FEMA will take over and we will be in a Police state at that time. I dont see any way out of it either once it has been implemented. He can continue with it and even do away with the Constitution when it gets so bad everyone of the sheep will beg him to fix it any way he can.

The next volley...

China PLA officers urge economic punch against U.S.

Full Story: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6183KG20100209

Excerpt:
The calls for broad retaliation over the planned U.S. weapons sales to the disputed island came from officers at China's National Defence University and Academy of Military Sciences, interviewed by Outlook Weekly, a Chinese-language magazine published by the official Xinhua news agency.

The interviews with Major Generals Zhu Chenghu and Luo Yuan and Senior Colonel Ke Chunqiao appeared in the issue published on Monday.

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) plays no role in setting policy for China's foreign exchange holdings. Officials in charge of that area have given no sign of any moves to sell U.S. Treasury bonds over the weapons sales, a move that could alarm markets and damage the value of China's own holdings.

While far from representing fixed government policy, the open demands for retaliation by the PLA officers underscored the domestic pressures on Beijing to deliver on its threats to punish the Obama administration over the arms sales.

"Our retaliation should not be restricted to merely military matters, and we should adopt a strategic package of counter-punches covering politics, military affairs, diplomacy and economics to treat both the symptoms and root cause of this disease," said Luo Yuan, a researcher at the Academy of Military Sciences.

Luo said Beijing could "attack by oblique means and stealthy feints" to make its point in Washington.

Here is a question for those who lived through the cold war......What was the saber rattling like on a weekly or monthly basis during that time period between the US and the USSR? I know that the variables between now and then are infinitely different but maybe we can learn a little from our past.
